- Sleeve Note - ANTONIO RUSSOLO - "In 1924 the Societa Nazionale del
- Grammofono released three Futurist records, which sold for 18
- lire a piece. One of these (R6919/20) contained CORALE and
- SERENATA, However, though this recorded document was referred
- to for years whenever 'intonarumori' were mentioned, they are
- rather insignificant graftings onto existing compositions and
- a far cry from the use of Luigi Russolo had made of them a
- few years earlier. Nonetheless, these are the only surviving
- authentic 'intonarumori' recordings that now exist."
