- I was one of the people who started this thread during the recent Oakland
- shows. However, some woman flamed us and referred to us as "the whiners".
- (To you, my dear, a heartfelt "Fuck you!" It's my $50, I can "whine" if I
- want...)
-
- Remember, at a Dead show, everybody has the right to reserve 20 seats for
- "friends" who may or may not show up, and it's not polite to confront
- anyone over it (no time to hate, right? Barf...). But it's also not cool to
- get irritated. Go with the flow, man (NOT!). Go to most any other concert,
- like MetallicA, try to save 20 seats, and get your ass kicked.
-
- Maybe it's about time people started acting like they were at any other show,
- and learn to conform to basic rules and coexist without being so damn greedy
- (especially when it's greedy under the guise of hippie "peace and love, man").
