  11. Mt. Tamalpais Outdoor Theatre!

  13. Monday was an off day during the past Coliseum run.  It was a glorious
  14. cool sunny day, so I took a drive up Mt. Tam, laid around in the sun
  15. with a book, then follwed a path to the Mt. Theatre.  This is a 
  16. natural amphitheatre with stone benches set into the hillside, a stage
  17. area at the bottom and a beautiful view.  I sat on a bench looking out
  18. and imagined seeing an outdoor show here.

  20. That evening I got Mouse to sign my copy of his book _Freehand_, and
  21. afterward, while paging through the book, I came upon a poster
  22. advertising a 1966 show at the Mt. Theatre with Grateful Dead, Joan
  23. Baez and Quicksilver ($2.50 adults, $1.00 student/child)!

  25. The poster features Winnie The Pooh, and there's a short poem in small
  26. print at the bottom that just about says it all:

  28.      AND THE COWS ARE ALMOST COOING, AND THE TURTLE-DOVES ARE MOOING,
  29.      WHICH IS WHY A POOH IS POOHING  IN THE SUN.
