- Okay, most people seemed to think this method was eak, i mean,
- weak, mainly because it did nothing to sort out those who have better
- equipment. It would therefore spread copies quickly, but maybe with a
- lower level of quality. I say to this - Point well taken. Thank you.
-
- One question - How many net folks do taping or copying of tapes
- on boomboxes or really shitty equipment? Sure, there may not be that many
- who have two Nakamichi Dragons, or two HiQ DAT decks, but I would
- bet (merely assuming here, mind you) that netheads probably pay a little
- more attention to quality adn eqwuipment than your average person on the
- street. Just a thought. I wonder if you ran this kind of method, and a regular
- tree, whether you could actually hear the difference. Even if someone did
- make copies on a boombox. Some could hear the difference I'm sure (maybe
- even me - though I'm not sure), but probably a lot couldn't, which may
- mitigate the criticisms of the alterante method i described.
-
- Anyway, I thought it was worth discussing. Thanls for all those
- who werwe positive and those who were negative (A good reading of the Grinch
- Who Stole Christmas always makes me feel better when I feel like venting on
- some poor soul.). See ya' later.......
-
- Peace :) jeremy
