- It's probably true enough that the reason the Dead are 4th is that they
- took time off. However Jim's comment may also be true in part. I don't
- think anyone's mentioned that at the Oakland run, many tickets could not
- even be sold at face value let alone scalper-scum prices. As a matter of
- fact, tickets were literally being given away at showtime (even for the
- Saturday night show!).

- thought it very strange -and in a weird sort of way, comforting - even in
