- I just got the "Star Time" box set of James Brown music. I was
- suprised to find a song called "Hot (I Need to be Loved, Loved,
- Loved)". The curious thing about this track is that much of the
- backing music is exactly the same as David Bowie's "Fame". Does
- anyone know the story about this? According to the notes in "Star
- Time" "Hot" was recorded in 1975. I believe that this was before
- Bowie did "Fame".
