  12. For Xmas I got a wonderful CD titled "Handel's Messiah-A Soulful Celebration".
  13. This is indeed the Messiah Music redone in various r&b (in it's broadest
  14. definition). There are tracks in everything from rap to gospel to James Brown
  15. to Take 6 to raggae. A great cast of performers: Stevie Wonder, Take 6, Al
  16. Jarreau, Patti Austin, the Yellowjackets, etc. The Hallelujah Chorus choir is
  17. a who's who of soul/gospel singing
  18.  
  19. Go out and by this disc now! Take it home, sit down, and listen to it all the
  20. way through. Again, and again. It's a killer. It's on the Warner Alliance
  21. label WBD-4141. My brother found it in a Christian bookstore here in town.
