  16.     In a Santa Cruz' flyer I read, Mr. Hoover was telling about his 
  17. philosophy in building guitars. He tries to make all parts if the guitar
  18. so precisely and for example splits the wood for braces along the wood grain
  19. in order to have more 'relaxed' guitar. The concept of 'opening' with time and
  20. playing is technically losing the tensions in the guitar body, and Hoover tries
  21. to make guitars without tension in the first place. Makes sense to me.
