- Prior to sending this posting out, I thought I'd scan rec.music.folk on the
- off chance that there might be something about John McCutcheon. I was
- surprised and delighted to see that there was a posting about "Christmas in
- the trenches", although (unfortunately) my newsreader is disabled over the
- Christmas break, and so I couldn't read this posting (other than seeing its
- subject line). I have a copy of the live tape, "Live at wolf trap", which
- is a live recording from "Barns of Wolf Trap", which I think is in VirginiA.
- (I'm an Aussie, and a friend has a copy of my tape.)
- I plan to "tour" (but not in concert :-) ) the U.S. in Jan and Feb of '93.
- I've heard that John McCutcheon lives somewhere near Carolina, although I'd
- be curious to know where (not the street address, though). As I say, I'd also
- like to know where he might be playing so that I can try and catch him in
- concert.
-
- Thank you for any help you can be. Whether or not you reply to the newsgroup,
- please direct any replies to me, as I should be able to log on occasionally
- from various sites in the U.S. and read my mail back "here" in Australia.
-
- Regards, David D.
