- The name of the performer is Richard Shindell and the album is called
- _Sparrows Point_. I believe it is on Schanachi (SP?) label. It
- is not easy to find except in the Northeast from what I hear. I
- have the album and it is excellent.
-
- True, and it's a very impressive album, but the intro to the song
- isn't on this album. Just a wild guess, but I'd say that you're
- referring to an earlier recorded version from some compilation,
- most likely Fast Folk. I found Sparrows Point at Tower in Boston
- a few months ago on sale for $12, as was their entire stock of
- Shanachie & Yazoo recordings. (That was enough to convince me
- to buy several. I'm usually reluctant to buy Shanachie recordings
- because they don't generally give you much information on the
- cover.)
