  25. For those of you who don't know McNevin, he is one of the most
  26. promising new singer/songwriters around.  An English publication,
  27. the Kerrville Kronicle, called his debut tape, _Secondhand Story_,
  28. one of the finest sets of original material the nineties will see.
  29. There's also a review in the Dec/Jan issue of Dirty Linen.

  31. If I'm not mistaken, the Dirty Linen review, which I haven't seen,
  32. is by Andrew Calhoun.  In any case, Andrew has written a review, 
  33. which concludes:
  34.      Two songs here, "November 4th" and "25 and Out of Room" are
  35.      appealing but immature.  The other nine approach perfection.
  36.      There is a wealth of secret meaning in these lyrics.  Pay 
  37.      close attention.  This is the work of a master.
  38. Two of Michael's songs will be on a compilation CD that Andrew
  39. is releasing shortly (if not already) called _American Impressionist
  40. Songwriters_.
