- Let's face it, labels only promote stuff they think they can sell. That
- usually ties in with the artist being willing to tour, do videos, etc. Laura's
- lack of interst in the music business amkes it tough to get a label behind her,
- they figure she will sell her usual number of records to her fans, be a decent
- catalog item over the years and that's it. She certainly doesn't fit any "hot"
- niche that a label is going to drool over.
