- I'm not using the DJ (using a Canon BJ-330 instead) but it sounds like what
- I used to get before I installed Adobe Type Manager. If you're not using ATM
- or PostScript, Finale uses a bitmapped font which is not very high
- resolution for printing and looks terrible. With ATM installed, Windows
- uses the Adobe Type 1 information to create characters scaled to the actual
- resolution your printer is capable of. The difference in appearance with &
- without ATM (which costs about $50 or so) is breathtaking. Unfortunately,
- the current version of Finale does not work with Win 3.1's TrueType, though
- _supposedly_ a version 3.0 to be released someday will.

- PS: With ATM installed, _any_ Type 1 fonts you install become available to
- _all_ your Windows applications, not just Finale (for example, WordPerfect
- for Windows).
