- I used to own the Szeryng Berg VC many years ago, I think it was pretty good.
- The Schoenberg stuff used to be on DGG 2530 257, the violinist in the
- Schoenberg VC is Zvi Zeitlin. Both good performances. What competition is
- there for the Schoenberg? I think there is an album on Erato of Boulez
- conducting with Peter Serkin and Pierre Amoyal, but I've never seen it in
- Canada. I await Gould's recording of the Schoenberg as part of the Gould
- Edition (it was originally coupled with a Mozart piano concerto!), and
- wouldn't mind if RCA reissued Peter Serkin and Ozawa doing it as well.
