- If you're in a metropolitan area, and not even a college town, there are
- also municipal and, often, youth orchestras. They can give quite a
- satisfying experience for well under $10. Maybe the aficionados would
- scoff at the standard, but it would be fine for a beginner.

- Concord, Newton, Marlboro, Cape Cod muni's, and GBYSO, NECYPO and NECYSO
- youth (well, that's Boston for you). Keep an eye on the small print of
- local newspapers.
