  14. I liked the acts III and I a lot and would recommend the following
  15. recordings:

  17. 1) If you are interested in the entire set then go in for 
  18.    FURTWANGLER recording on Vortuoso/EMI.  (Virtuoso is much cheaper
  19. than the EMI recording)
  20.  
  21. 2) For act III, I liked Solti's recording with Flagstad.  
  22. 3) For act I, I liked Walter's recording with Melchoir.
