  12. Cambridge, MA--December 14, 1992--The New England Conservatory's
  13. Sharon Lavery thrilled a very enthusiastic audience last night with her
  14. Masters of Music recital, accompanied by impressive violin
  15. performances by Carolyn Kalhorn and Louise Owen, among others.

  17. Lavery started off with Mozart's Quintet in A Major, K.581 and, after
  18. intermission, switched to Rozsa's Sonatina for Clarinet Solo, Op. 27.
  19. These successes were followed by Debussy's Premiere Rhapsodie and Arnold's
  20. Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano.  She then demonstrated her versatility
  21. by concluding with a modern Bill Douglas piece, Sky, accompanied
  22. by keyboard, base and drums.  It was an altogether enjoyable evening.
  23. Big things can be expected from this talented performer as she pursues
  24. her clarinet career at home in New York.
