  22. Allow me to suggest another Shostakovich 'goodie' that is a) low-priced
  23. and b) widely available. I refer to the 1966 recording of the 10th
  24. symphony by Von Karajan and the Berlin PO. Karajan's output was certainly
  25. variable in quality, but this is one of his best, and for me the most
  26. convincing exposition of this piece.
