- So far, I haven't seen anyone mention Prokofiev, who used a saxophone in
- Romeo and Juliet (a brilliant piece, by the way), and incredibly enough,
- he even used a saxophone in his concerto for saxophone and orchestra. :-)

- There is a substantial body of music for saxophone(s) written by a number
- of French composers. It is mostly not well known, but if you hang out at
- a music school, and if you have a college roommate who is a saxophone major,
- (okay, such as myself) you get to hear quite a bit of it.
