  11. I appreciate the indulgence as I passed along the rumors, but mostly
  12. this came from a sense of alarm.  I think Behrens is wonderful, despite
  13. her obvious, often-discussed-in-the-review-press flaws.  I didn't like
  14. hearing that she might have suffered such a terrible setback.

  25. With Gardiner recordings, for the most part...  :-)  But he does occasionally
  26. emerge for a Wagner or Strauss opera.

  28. By the way, any upcoming MET productions of "Die Frau ohne Schatten" coming
  29. up?  I just discovered this music and I think it's AWESOME.  I hear that the
  30. MET production a while back was one of the best at taking full advantage
  31. of their staging capabilities.
