- Bamberg is the sister-city of my hometown, Fredonia, NY. It is, in
- fact, in Bavaria. More specifically, it is located in Ober-Franken in Bayern,
- ie. Bavaria, about 35 miles south of the East German border and another 150
- miles or so north of Munich. Last I heard, the Symphony was doing just fine,
- in spite of the fact that Ober-Franken has the highest per-capita beer
- consumption in Germany:-)
