  28. would seem they would consider using others to provide differing

  38. Given that Eva did the new Met production of "Salome" after the
  39. "first time around" for the Met Ring, I question this.  Instead,
  40. I would suspect either the Met passed on her, or she was not
  41. available (or both).  Singers of her fach tend to be scheduled
  42. way into the future.

  51. worker and reliable, but her power and ability have not changed
  52. significantly since she did the recordings of the Bayreuth Ring.

  54. performance of "Die Frau Ohne Shatten" because her daughter's
  55. classmate was to be in the audience and did not want to disappoint
  56. her.)
