- The best (IMHO) performance of Vespers is one issued by Melodiya many years
- ago that has finally been reissued on CD. After hearing this one, all
- others are not quite measure up. Rachmaninoff Vespers with the USSR State
- Russian Choir conducted by Alexander Sveshnikov - Melodiya MEL CD 1000601
- distributed in the US by Koch International, 177 Cantiaque Rock Rd,
- Westbury, NY 11590 (516) 938-8080.
