- Here's a little more to add to the subject...
- Read 1Corinthians 11:1-16, verses 7,14 and 16 in particular. Verse
- 16 is very clear and direct. I thought about analyzing the passage in
- this post but I can't stand the flaming that goes on. Please read this
- passage. It's key to the issue of long hair, short hair, respect,
- custom, authority, etc.
-
- I have short hair but I've encountered this issue with my friends.
- When I was in High School the guys with long hair tended to be more
- rebellious but I don't think I see the connection anymore. Long hair
- is quite a fashion these days. I will not go into Church with my head
- covered and will not grow long hair for this reason but that's personal
- concerning the passage mentioned above. To teach the passage above is
- one thing but to impose it goes against verse 16. This symbol wasn't
- always this way. Read Numbers 6.
-
- PS If anyone has any thoughts concerning 1Corinthians 11:10 "...because
- of the angels." please e-mail me - it does not concern music so please
- don't post. I haven't figured this out yet.
