- Hi all!
-
- I just read Stacey O'Brien's post and I almost fell off my chair from laughter.
- Thanks for starting my day in such a humorous, but meaningful way! I am now
- trying to conceive the concept of a heavy metal church -- THAT sounds like
- an experience!
-
- As for hair, my own hair has been many different lengths at different times.
- I found that I got a lot of strange looks when it was long, but that's not the
- reason that it is short today. Maybe the problem stems from being in the
- wrong area of the country, as Stacey suggests. Last spring (when I had longer
- hair), I visited my sister in Santa Cruz, CA. I went from a culture in central
- PA where I had "long" hair to a culture in CA where I was very conservative.
- It depends on your perspective, I suppose.
-
- Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't long hair an "in" style these days? A lot of
- popular men have been shown recently with long or longer hair. Not that I'm
- saying that you should do something because the rest of the world does it...
- which of course, we all know would be a REALLY bad trend to follow.
-
- My favorite thing to tell people when they make comments about my hair is that
- they should only get concerned if I start wearing ribbons and bows in it.
- And even then, if I'M okay with my decision to do this, then I can't see why
- it would concern other people so much that they would get all stressed out
- over it. Perhaps suggest that they switch to decaf?
-
- Peace in the love of our Saviour!
