  24. The King James is a good Bible to have just for its beautiful language.  If
  25. you are reading the Bible as poetry, then use KJ.  If you are reading it for
  26. torah, then use other versions.

  31. ACtually, you will find that the NIV is NOT the most accurate.  I took a class
  32. that used different versions and compared them to the original Hebrew, and
  33. the NIV had more than a few problems. 
  34.  If you can't 
  35. use the original hebrew, then try the RSV or the JPS, even though that has 
  36. some of its own problems.
