- I have been in christian (or gospel, whichever label you prefer) rock groups
- for years now and had to justify my hair and guitar playing (i got rebuked
- once for playing guitar with what I guess must have been 'demonic' overdrive,
- no kidding...) at least a dozen times.

- IF it is the case that the Rock music is bad because 'the devil' uses it,
- it would only be because the christians have up and let him have it.

- There are lots of things that 'the devil' uses that aren't intrinsically
- evil. I won't banter on, but my point is that a lot of people love to
- find reasons that things they DON'T LIKE are evil. It makes their
- theology a lot tidier that ; no challenges to accept something
- different, you know...
