  22. What really annoys me is when people abbreviate things with X's.  Things
  23. like "Ped X-ing" for "Pedestrian Crossing".  My dad used to say, "Yeah,
  24. let's X some peds!  10 points for that one!"

  26. I find 'alot' preferable to 'a lot', since the latter conjures up images
  27. in my mind of yard-fuls of whatever I'm trying to modify.
