- What really annoys me is when people abbreviate things with X's. Things
- like "Ped X-ing" for "Pedestrian Crossing". My dad used to say, "Yeah,
- let's X some peds! 10 points for that one!"

- I find 'alot' preferable to 'a lot', since the latter conjures up images
- in my mind of yard-fuls of whatever I'm trying to modify.
