- i was just wondering why some people find a "rock" beat offending?
- is there a certain type of music that they think that God feels is
- "right"? because i'm wondering if it's that "old-english" sounding Hymn
- stuff (which, don't get me wrong, i really like some of it), or is it
- the Black Gospel type, which can get pretty "soulful", i.e. it can get
- you really moving. Both types seem (to me) to be a derivative of music
- that was "secular" in the first place (classical & blues) but those even
- had a spiritual beginning. i just can't really understand why some
- people feel this way about the sound of the music, as long as the lyrics
- are definitely edifying God (& of course they include the "timbrel &
- harp" in 'em!)
-
- (i personally prefer the "harder" rap groups, SFC, PID, & stuff...)

- p.s. this is not rhetorical, i'd like to hear some views from the
- "non-rocky" people.
