- If you have good speakers, you will notice the difference. Stereo Review
- is not a good source of information. Their only purpose is to sell lots of junk
- to consumers. My friend's CD player broke and while it was being repaired, he
- hooked up his Sony portable. The difference was amazing! The Sony sounded like
- a transistor radio! He has really good speakers, so your mileage will vary. I
- claim that a $500.00 (retail) casette tape player will sound better than a $199.00
- CD changer.
