- Well, if I say "yes, they sound the same", the next person might well complain
- that my ears need to be replaced. If I say "no, there's a difference" then
- someone may think I'm a 'nutty audiophile'. So how do I win? I cheat...
-
- Here's my advice: pull together a handful of discs, some of everything you
- might listen to on the player. Go to a dealer (or a few dealers) with the discs
- and ask to audition a few players. Try to match your home system as closely
- as possible (speakers, amplifier, etc.) In the end, you're going to have to pay
- for the changer and listen to it for however long it lasts, so trust your own
- ears and wallet. :)
