- In response to my query about guitar-driven blues with a jazz flavor, many
- of you recommended Robben Ford; I bought his "Talk to your Daughter" last
- week, and while it's a step in the right direction it's not what I'm looking
- for.
- He has great tone and taste, but the closest he approaches to a jazz feel
- is on "Ain't Got Nothin' but the Blues", at least on this album.
- This is a good album, and it's refreshing to hear someone play blues with
- such a nice tone and unconventional licks, but it's lacks the jazz flavor
- I'm looking for.
- Any other recommendations?
