- That's a surprise to me, too... I knew that heroin, and other drugs, were
- the norm in the jazz world in the past, but I had the impression (largely
- from speaking with Don Thompson, a relatively big name pianist, vibist,
- and bassist in Toronto) that most jazz players these days were a little
- more clueful. Thompson even told me that most of the guys he plays with
- are scared to have a beer at a gig, for fear it will mess up their music!
- Maybe that's just Toronto The Good, I don't know...
