- On a recent NorthWest Airlines flight I saw in their in-flight magazine an
- ad from Capitol Records (? - I may be mistaken) offering the Beatles box
- set (British LPs, 16 in all including Past Masters I & II) for just under
- US$200. This comes to $12.50 per CD, the postage and handling of $14 (for
- Europe) pushes the price up to $13.50. This is a heck of a lot cheaper than
- in England, where I think I remember seeing it go for 200 pounds (> $300).
- I never did cut out the ad, but since I'm getting a second chance soon I was
- wondering if anyone can tell me if it really is a bargain. What's the cheapest
- it's sold for before? I've been putting off buying any Beatle CDs in the past
- just in the hope that I'd be able to get a cheap box set or the CD prices would
- plummet but neither has happened.
-
- Help me ooooh.

- Rick.
