  28. Just a clarification, especially for those who did not view this program.
  29. Chapman very clearly and directly stated that he did not blame his actions 
  30. on a book.  He even wrote a letter to the author (Salinger?) to apologize.
  31. He made it very clear that he took personal responsiblity for his acts and 
  32. placed no blame or responsibilty on anything or anyone else.

  40. That was some comment that the author of the book (what a f**ked up title!)
  41. made about Chapman's motivation being that he wanted to hurt a lot of people.  
  42. He'd also fantasized about getting hold of a nuclear weapon and setting it 
  43. off in a major city.
