- Yes, there is a company that makes the correct prototypical trucks,
- (they are black, and accept KD#5 easily) and diaphrams. I used these
- on 9 of these cars. In addition, I stripped the rotten paint job Con-Cor
- puts on these and repainted and decaled them. I got around the whole
- interior problem by replacing the clear plastic windows with tinted
- plexiglass. You can still look into the cars if you put your eye right up
- to a window, but otherwise they look exactly like the prototype.
- I weighted them to about 9 ounces, using sheet lead.
