- Jay-Bee makes coupler mounting pads for the ConCor and others.
- If you look in the Walther catalog, page 178, section couplers
- you will see it. It gives a brief description of the pads.
-
- You can buy 1 pack, then build your own using the J.B. pads as
- templates. In your case the article number is 116.
-
- As for the tinting of windows. I once traveled from San Jose CA to
- Seattle WA by Amtrak, both ways. Wonderfull trip. I was in a sleeper.
- It was the first time I ever slept in a sleeper, in my own bed. I
- actually slept very well. Since the trip took about 24 hrs., I had
- time to explore the train. If I remember correctly, from inside it
- lokks like the windows is just glass like any automobile. From the
- outside, it has a slight tint, less so in the longe car (I suppose
- for the better viewing for the passengers ?!?!?).
-
- I have never done this, but you could mix a small ammount of Testor
- Rubber color number 1183 with a lot of gloss clear and what Testor
- calls Brush Cleaner, and spray over the windows on the outside. As I
- said, I have never done this before, so you are better off try it on a
- clear piece of plastic first (this will allow you to come up with the
- right ammouts).
-
- Good luck
