- On another note, I read through your post, and you mentioned you have a
- difficult time with Bison. I have a technique (it's pretty damn cool,
- even if it -is- a patten :) with which I can perfect Level 7 Bison
- about 90% of the time.
-
- First thing to do is, back up to the wall! Jump back, and use your medium
- flying kick to defend yourself. Now, whenever he comes in to nail you
- jump up and back (since you are against the wall, you will jump straight
- up) and use your medium kick. Because you are technically flying backward
- your medium kick will be the extended flying kick, not the short range
- vertical-jump medium kick. This will keep him at bay (he does't use his
- long range head stomp for whatever reason). When he isn't doing this, chances
- are he will be coming at you with a flaming torpedo. Just stand there, and
- cooly kick him in the head with your medium standing kick. This will take
- him out of the torpedo and knock him back.
-
- It's funny; because he uses his torpedo so often, he's really quite easy
- to beat. I generally have an easier time with him than with Sagat or
- Vega.
-
- The technique of jumping backwards while against the wall is sometimes useful
- against other players, but in general you are backed up against the wall
- so it's not a good idea :) It also doesn't work too great for Bison on
- other levels, but that's life :).
