- Just got my copy of Game Fan (the mag published by Die Hard) and I must say
- that I am impressed - they really crammed in a lot of info.
-
- Road Blaster FX and Annette Again (Mega CD) look very, very good, same goes
- for Land Stalker.
-
- The Super CD version of Gain Ground has better graphics and larger characters.
-
- Mortal Combat moves list looks like the list that I've seen on r.g.v.a...does
- that mean that Die Hard has usenet access? Hmm...
-
- Now the really interesting stuff. First, the 32-bit (yeah:-) system from
- Panasonic that uses an ARM processor. The system is supposed to be debuted at
- the January CES. Electronic Arts and Lucas Arts are already supposed to be
- working on the software (John Madden'94 and Jurassic Park, respectively).
- The price will be around $700 with games around $100.
- The Neo-Geo CD-ROM will be made by Sony who backed out of the deal with
- Nintendo.
-
- The Mega CD Street Fighter 2: CE is now official as well as Sega's own SF2
- clone - Real Fighters. Also, rumors of a new shooter from Sega that has
- 128 on-screen colors as opposed to the regular 64.
-
- Literally hundreds of SF2 clones on the way - HELP!!!
-
- For Super Famicom: conversions of Neo-Geo World Heroes and Art of Fighting
- (I wonder how this one is going to look), plus 16-meg Dead Dance from Jaleco.
- The Neo-Geo gets Art of Fighting 2 and World Heroes 2, the latter being the
- first game where you can link 2 Neo-Geo's for a four-player matchup (there
- is a screen shot, BTW, looks, well, strange), plus Fatal Fury 2 (this one
- should be in the arcades by now).
-
- While I am skeptical about the Panasonic system, this is sure better than
- Quatermann's babble in EGM :-)
