- I strikes me that new technology usually has a very brief lifetime, but
- that it doesn't seem to hold in the video game world. The NES was out
- for quite a while before the SNES came out, yet still enjoyed (and
- enjoys) success in the marketplace. The Lynx and Gameboy have also been
- around for years, and the Game Gear, while apparently starting to come
- into its own, is also not new technology.

- My question, for those of you in tune with the industry, is what's
- coming down the road, and when? I've heard rumors of a color Gameboy
- for ages, but no delivery date in sight. Has anyone heard any other
- rumors/plans for the next generation handhelds? Share your insights!
