- I care about REAL HOCKEY. After you totally flatten a guy a
- hundred times after the whistle goes, it gets pretty boring.
-
- Wayne Gretzky Hockey for the Mac? It was total shit. It used
- the same graphics as CGA for the IBM PC, and you probably played
- it with a mouse (which makes the game impossible). If you play
- WGH3 with the League Simulator II, a real joystick (although the
- Power Stick is quite cool), then you can adequately compare them.
- In which case, Wayne puts down everything else hands down.
-
- I found the controls on NHLPA 94 to be quite unresponsive
- compared to WGH3, it just doesn't respond fast enough to provide
- the kind of control necessary to make and receive good passes.
- (which is irrelevant in NHLPA '94 because you don't need to pass
- to score)
-
- I'll admit 2-Player mode is fun, but I enjoyed playing Pong when
- it was against my friend as well. The point is, when you compare
- ANY Genesis hockey game to WGH3, there is no comparison. IMHO, I
- don't think they ever will, because there are so many people like
- you which want to see more fighting and harder checks, look at
- something like "Hit The Ice", which is total junk. (and due to
- be released in January '93 according to our distributor's price
- list)
