  11.     I recently bought a Lynx just because of the low Christmas price
  12. and because I'm used to Atari producing good stuff.  What I got just
  13. blows me away (and I'm a Comp Sci with a strong background in computer graphics
  14. and an avid gamer).

  16.     STUN Runner and Xybots are truly amazing.  As far as I can tell, this is
  17. exactly the same game play as in the arcade games.  The graphics are fast
  18. and smooth and the sound is pretty incredible for a portable (hearing speech
  19. from STUN Runner was quite a shock!).  The raw size of the games is surprising.  
  20. I had expected only a few of the arcade levels, but have been past level 15
  21. on Zybots and am still going.  STUN Runner I still haven't seen everything up to
  22. 11 (on of the starting options).  The pictures that they show on boxes and
  23. in trade magazines just don't show how good this system is.

  25.     The screen is quite clean and clear (better than Game Gear).  The
  26. controls and shape of the  system are very nice ergonomically.  The cartidges
  27. seat well and the whole thing seems to be resilient to abuse (I carry it in my
  28. jacket pocket everywhere).

  30.     The batteries seem to last a decent time.  There is a pause function for
  31. the games, and the backlight can be turned off to conserve power when you just
  32. want to pause for a bit without losing the game.  The headphone jack and left/
  33. right switch were also nice touches.

  35.     The cartridge selection is pretty good too.  There are about 10 that I'm
  36. lusting for right off the bat from Atari's ad.

  38.     I really, really want to see 2 player Xybots, so if someone in the
  39. area wants to play, give me a buzz.
