  12. I am quite new to the home video gaming world, having just received a sega
  13. genesis as a gift.  On the box it describes something called the Mega CD
  14. which looks like a CD-ROM upgrade for the genesis.  Is this something
  15. which is already obsolete or not yet released?  More generally, what
  16. is it?
