  12. Just a quick question.  I'm beginning to wonder about the version of 
  13. moria I have.  It's umoria 5.5 and I ftped from somewhere suggestioned
  14. in this newsgroup.  It works perfectly, except there are no HAs or DFs.
  15. I'm a 36th level Ranger, I use a SD (4d6) (+7,+20), I'm at 2750ft, and have
  16. been below 2500 feet since the 28th level or so.  I've
  17. found 6 or more Amulet's of Magi, 3 Rings of Speed, 8 or so Gain Exp potions
  18. killed 10 or so AMHDs (only after the 2nd RoSpeed), and countless Emperor
  19. Lichs, Evil Iggys, and other ADs.  I've identified hundreds of weapons and
  20. never found a _single_ DF or HA.  I thought it was normal until I heard 
  21. about some 16th level Ranger up on 1700ft with already a HA and a DF.

  23. Is there something wrong here, or are HAs THAT rare, and that other Ranger
  24. just got lucky??
