  24. Hmm, how far down do you need to go? I'm currently playing a 28th level
  25. magic user (Elf), and I'm hanging out at around 1850ft. From looking
  26. at the tables in the source, I see that the optimum level for Gain Stats
  27. potions is (from memory) about 1400ft(?). Has coming down this low affected
  28. my chances of finding any more much? Ho much further need I go to find monsters
  29. who drop such potions with any degree of regularity? It'd be nice to be able
  30. to get rid of my +2 ring of intelligence and my +3 ring of strength and wear
  31. something more interesting - perhaps then I wouldn't have lost my ring of see
  32. invisible from my pack 8-(. Ghosts are  a pain in the bum when you can't see
  33. them...
