- I fully agree to this variation. My group also plays like this and it really
- doesn't seem to unbalance the game. But I must state it is better to use
- the priests from "The Complete Priests Handbook" *only*!! The original Cleric
- would have to many spells at hand and thus would become too mighty compared
- to the mage at lower levels.

- It seems very logical for priests to pray to their gods at the very moment
- they want to cast spells. For example in the DRAGONLANCE-saga Goldmoon is
- always praying when she wants to heal someone and her godess is sometimes
- directly communicating with her.
