- Your advice is certainly correct, but assumes two things which may not be true:
- (a) that the poster is familiar enough with usenet to know what the FAQ is
- and where to find it, and (b) that the FAQ is readily accessible at the poster;s
- home site. Not too long ago I was in the shoes of this poster: What's an FAQ?
- Where do you get it?, etc. so I like it when "reead the FAQ" posts also tell
- where to get it and so on.
