  16. A few months ago I posted some of my thoughts on the book
  17. "Combination JB>Challenge!" by Lou Hays and John Hall.  After discussing
  18. position #1, it JB>became apparent that there were at least two
  19. different versions of the JB>book in circulation (if position #1 has a
  20. pawn on c6, then your book is a JB>newer version than mine).

  23. the ommissions you mention below are not found in my book, so you must
  24. have got a defective copy.
