I received one of the Kasparov chess sets that USCF sells (Garry-6) for
Christmas.  It is a beautiful set - the nicest I've ever used, which
includes the Jacques imitation set that USCF used to sell (although that
was a nice set, too).  All pieces are one-piece carved, and HEAVY.  At $89,
the light-dark brown boxwood set is a bargain, IMHO.  If you insist, for
another $110 you can get the light-black set where the black pieces are
ebony, but the dark pieces are plenty dark in the cheaper set.
