  22. Stein, This topic has spawned a lot of messages on CompuServe's Chess
  23. Forum of late. Bottom line, during the install process the copy
  24. protection scheme takes note of the CPU speed and type (among other
  25. things) and neither CB3 nor CB4 (the latest version) will run under OS/2
  26. unless everything else is shut down, so there's no time slicing going
  27. on between different applications. (I expect this means running it from
  28. the OS/2 penalty box only, but am not an OS/2 user so its all second
  29. hand to me). ChessBase USA is aware of this problem, and I would suggest
  30. that you make known to them your difficulties with this situation.
